The Chief Officer of Clackmannanshire and Stirling Health and Social Care Partnership fulfils a dual role as Accountable Officer to the Integration Joint Board (IJB) and Chief Officer of the Health and Social Care Partnership (HSCP), leading the integration and delivery of adult health and social care services across NHS Forth Valley, Clackmannanshire Council and Stirling Council.
The IJB is a statutory public body responsible for strategic needs assessment, planning, commissioning and directing services to improve outcomes for the population of Clackmannanshire and Stirling. The Chief Officer ensures delivery of the Strategic Commissioning Plan, provides strategic advice to the IJB, and supports it to meet its statutory responsibilities.
Operating within a unique partnership spanning two local authorities, the Chief Officer provides system leadership across organisational, professional and political boundaries, working collaboratively with Chief Executives from the three partner organisations and other key stakeholders to deliver high-quality, integrated and person-centred services.
