Community Engagement Manager | Chinnor RFC | Full-time | £28,000–£35,000
Chinnor RFC is one of the most exciting clubs in English rugby — a Championship club with serious ambitions on the pitch and a genuine commitment to the community off it. We're looking for a hands-on, passionate Community Engagement Manager to take the spirit of our club out into the heart of Thame and the surrounding area, reaching people who might never have considered rugby as theirs.
This is a delivery role as much as a strategic one. You'll be coaching in local schools, running HAF camps across the school holidays, building relationships with grassroots organisations and community groups, and helping ensure that everything we do in the community generates real impact — and over time, real sustainability.
You'll need an RFU Level 2 coaching qualification or equivalent, a clean driving licence, and the kind of energy that makes a difference in a primary school car park at 8am as readily as in a boardroom. Experience in community sport or outreach is essential; knowledge of the RFU landscape and existing networks across Oxfordshire or Buckinghamshire would be a bonus.
