We are committed to delivering high-quality services and are looking for a dedicated individual to join our project delivery team as a warehouse operative.
You would be joining a busy mobile telecoms service provider with offices throughout the UK, currently employing over 200 people.

This role would be based in our head office in Tavistock.
Key Role Responsibilities:
You will be responsible for organising and coordinating warehouse activities, including making deliveries to sites across the South region. The role also involves ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of warehouse schedules and operations. Full role-specific training will be provided.
Your main responsibilities will include:-
- Keeping the warehouse clean, organised, and safe.
- Forklift driving.
- Adhering to health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Maintaining stock records, conducting regular inventory checks, and saving information within the correct folders/files, and compiling reports for our clients.
- Communicating with suppliers for quotes and delivery schedules.
- Issuing purchase orders (POs) for consumables and other warehouse-related materials.
- Managing incoming deliveries and ensuring all items are correctly logged and stored.
- Delivering equipment to telecom sites and ensuring timely arrival.
- Preparing site equipment and consumables for projects.
- Liaising with project managers and site teams to ensure efficient logistics.
- Assist in office activities such as ordering office supplies, administrative tasks and general building maintenance.
- Troubleshooting on the day issues.
Required Experience and Skills:
- Interested, enthusiastic and keen to learn with strong positive attitude.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or telecoms role.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with stock management systems.
- Good communication skills for supplier interaction and team coordination.
- Administration experience.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Computer literate.
- Driving Licence.
- Excellent observation of Health and Safety requirements.
Hours:
08:00 - 17:30.
Compensation:
- Salary is negotiable depending on experience.
