If you already have a suitable vehicle and would prefer to use your own van, we may also be able to offer opportunities on a self-employed basis, subject to vehicle, insurance and operational requirements.
The Role
Your typical day will involve:
- Safely driving a 3.5-tonne delivery van
- Completing approximately 75–110 delivery stops
- Loading and unloading parcels, including items up to 30kg
- Working within your allocated delivery area
- Delivering parcels safely and professionally
- Providing excellent customer service
- Completing daily vehicle checks
- Reporting any vehicle or operational issues
- Following DHL safety and delivery procedures
What We're Looking For
We are looking for drivers who are reliable, professional and committed to long-term work.
You will need:
- Full UK driving licence held for 3+ years
- Maximum 6 penalty points
- Minimum age 25 due to insurance requirements
- Previous experience driving a 3.5-tonne van
- Ability to lift and carry parcels up to 30kg
- Good time management and organisation
- A professional attitude towards customers
- Ability to work independently
- Willingness to complete the required DBS/background check
Self-Employed Position
This is a self-employed opportunity offering regular work within an established delivery operation.
You will be responsible for your own tax and National Insurance.
