We are seeking a detail-oriented and organised Mortgage Administrator to join our financial services team. Responsibilities
- Prepare and organise mortgage documentation, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Liaise with clients, lenders, and internal teams to facilitate smooth processing of mortgage applications.
- Monitor application progress and follow up on outstanding requirements or issues.
- Maintain accurate records of all transactions and correspondence related to mortgage files.
- Assist in the preparation of reports and updates for senior management.
- Ensure compliance with relevant legal and regulatory standards within the mortgage industry.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client queries promptly and professionally.
- Support team members with administrative tasks as required to ensure efficient workflow.
Experience
- Previous experience within financial services or mortgage administration is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates eager to learn.
- Basic mathematical skills are necessary for calculations related to loan figures, interest rates, and payments.
- Strong organisational skills with an ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in British English.
