Due to the nature of work that Sonic Healthcare UK undertakes, our clients require that Employees filling certain roles, need, as part of their on-boarding to complete a DBS Check. This role falls into the category of requiring a DBS check (standard)
About the role:
A vacancy has arisen for a Biomedical Scientist in the Biochemistry Department based at Watford ESL. The laboratory at Watford provides 24/7 clinical biochemistry testing for acute and urgent care areas of the hospital as well as some onsite testing for the local community. The successful candidate will join our team of dedicated biomedical scientists and associate practitioners in delivering a high-quality pathology service. This post offers the opportunity to broaden your skills and experience in a busy Blood Sciences Laboratory.
The ideal candidate will be committed to service excellence and have a genuine desire for continued personal and professional development. Candidates should have a suitable approved undergraduate degree in Biomedical Science (or equivalent) and be registered with the HCPC.
Previous hospital laboratory experience would be desirable, however full training will be provided for all work performed.
