Working in our highly organised, state-of-the-art production facility, you will join a team focused on quality. Working individually or in a collaborative cell, you will build, test, and finish high-quality electronic assemblies.
Your daily responsibilities will include:
- Precision Assembly: Building small components using jigs, fixtures, hand tools, and power tools (screws and rivets).
- Soldering & Wiring: Hand soldering components and crimping wire contacts.
- Quality Control: Conducting close visual inspections using microscopes and magnifying devices.
- Machine Operation: Monitoring robots and automated assembly or test equipment.
- Finishing Processes: Handling potting, sealing, and encapsulating with resins, alongside plastic welding and product packing.
Location: Derby (DE21 4AP) – Based at our modern technology campus
Position: Full-Time, Permanent
Hours: 39 hours per week
Shift Pattern:
- Monday to Friday: 17:00 – 22:00
Pay:
- Starting Pay: £12.73 per hour
- Weekly Bonus: £15 – £30 per week (following initial training)
- Overtime: Enhanced pay rates available for extra hours worked

No previous electronics experience? No problem! We provide full, ongoing support through our dedicated internal Training Academy.
