Job Vacancy ~ Early Years Deputy Manager
Hours of work ~ Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday 8am-3.30pm and Thursdays 8am-4pm.
Salary ~£14.50 per hour subject to qualifications and experience.
Work Pattern ~ Term Time Only.
Minimum Qualifications ~ A full and relevant level 3 Early Years Qualification. You will need 2 years minimum leadership experience within a Pre-school or nursery setting. SEN experience, DSL training and Paediatric First Aid are advantageous but not essential. You will need to have in depth knowledge of the EYFS and knowledge of operational aspects such as health and safety.

Sporle Pre-School is a charitable organisation operating within Sporle Primary School; we offer a range of sessions during term time only.
We are a busy Pre-School at the heart of the community we are looking for a new highly motivated and committed team member to join us and help lead staff to ensure a high standard of care is delivered and maintained. You will need to be passionate about working with children with a positive and motivated attitude.
As part of this job role we expect the individual to be able to lead and model with pride within a small team and to also ensure parent partnerships are maintained. We pride ourselves in working closely with each and every family and we would expect the new candidate to take on Key Person duties. You would be required to maintain and build profession relationships with many other agencies and settings we have contact with.
It is essential that all applicants have in depth knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage and are confident in planning and organising to enable every child to be a competent learner. Sporle Pre-School has been awarded a Strong standard in all areas from Ofsted (2026) and we continue to strive to achieve new exciting levels.
