Pure Management Services are a leading supplier of housekeeping, property management and guest support services for Holiday Homes across the South Hams. We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional standards for both property owners and guests, ensuring every property is presented to the highest standard.
The Role
We are looking for reliable and detail oriented self-employed housekeepers to join our growing team.
You will be responsible for cleaning and preparing holiday homes to a high standard, ensuring they are guest ready for every arrival. Properties are located across the South Hams, so travel between locations is required.
This is a flexible, self-employed role with work allocated based on business demand and your availability. Workload will vary throughout the year, with increased oppurtunities during peak holiday seasons e.g. Summer Holidays & Christmas. Due to the nature of the business, applicants must be able to work on Fridays and Saturdays, which are our busiest days, as well as bank holidays and peak periods e.g. bank holidays.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete property changeover cleans to company standards and within allocated timeframes
- Prepare properties for arriving guests, ensuring they are clean, well-presented and guest-ready
- Change and make beds to a high standard
- Clean and sanitise kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms and living areas
- Vacuum, mop, dust and maintain all internal areas of the property
- Check properties for damage, maintenance issues or health and safety concerns, reporting these promptly
- Monitor stock levels and report any shortages of guest consumables or housekeeping supplies
- Report missing items, breakages or any concerns identified during cleans
- Handle, transport and change linen as required
- Follow property-specific instructions and owner requirements where applicable
- Maintain clear communication with the Property Coordination team
- Ensure all work is completed to the high standards expected by property owners and guests
Requirements
- Full UK driving licence
- Own reliable vehicle
- Self-employed status
- Valid Public Liability Insurance
- Excellent attention to detail
- Good communication skills
- Strong time management skills
- Flexible and dependable approach to work
- Ability to work independently or as a team
- Availability to work Fridays, Saturdays and bank holidays
Previous housekeeping or professional cleaning experience is preferred but not essential, as training and support can be provided.
