The Role
We're looking for an Operations Executive to join our team and take ownership of the pre-order side of our business. You'll be the person making sure customers can pre-order the releases they're excited about, that listings go live on time and that our suppliers deliver what we need, when we need it, so every release day runs smoothly.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone early in their career who wants hands-on experience in e-commerce operations within the music and entertainment retail industry. Full training will be provided — we care more about your attention to detail and enthusiasm than a long CV.
What You'll Be Doing
- Setting up and maintaining pre-order listings on our website and marketplaces, making sure titles, artwork, pricing, and release dates are accurate and go live in good time
- Tracking upcoming releases and street dates across music, film, and merchandise and keeping our pre-order calendar up to date
- Liaising directly with labels, distributors, and suppliers to confirm availability, allocations and delivery schedules for upcoming releases
- Chasing up delayed or amended release dates with suppliers and updating listings and customers accordingly
- Working closely with our warehouse and customer service teams to make sure pre-ordered stock is ready to ship as soon as it arrives
- Spotting upcoming releases worth featuring and flagging them to the wider team
- Keeping accurate records of supplier communications, order confirmations and allocation numbers
What We're Looking For
- A genuine interest in music, film, or entertainment retail
- Strong organisational skills and real attention to detail. Pre-order dates and stock numbers need to be right
- Comfortable communicating with suppliers and colleagues, in writing and over the phone
- Good working knowledge of basic computer systems (spreadsheets, email, website content tools). We'll train you on our specific systems
- A proactive, can-do attitude and willingness to learn
No prior experience in retail operations is required, though any exposure to retail, e-commerce, admin, or customer service is a bonus
