The Role
You'll manage your own portfolio of personal injury claims from initial instruction right through to settlement or trial. Every day is different, and you'll be the go-to person for your clients at every stage of their journey.
Day-to-day you can expect to:
– Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, third parties and opposing solicitors
– Keep clients informed and up to date throughout their case — clear communication is key
– Review evidence, assess prospects of success, and advise clients on next steps
– Value and negotiate quantum with precision and confidence
– Draft court proceedings and all associated documentation
– Comply with court directions and manage deadlines effectively
– Negotiate settlements and achieve the best possible outcomes for clients
– Hit your billing targets and contribute to team KPIs
What We're Looking For
Essential:
– Proven experience handling personal injury claims
– Solid litigation experience — you're comfortable in, or preparing for, a courtroom
– A strong billing record that you're proud of
– Qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive with litigation rights
– A full driving licence, or currently learning to drive
You'll also bring:
– A thorough understanding of personal injury law and how to apply it
– Exceptional written and verbal communication — clients trust you instantly
– A natural ability to build rapport and lasting professional relationships
– Excellent organisational skills and the ability to juggle multiple cases at once
– A flexible, can-do mindset — you embrace change and pick up new skills quickly
