We are seeking a friendly and professional Food and Beverage Assistant to join our team. Duties
- Serve food and beverages to customers in a courteous and efficient manner
- Assist with food preparation tasks as required, ensuring high standards of hygiene and safety
- Take customer orders accurately and process transactions promptly
- Set up dining areas, including table arrangements and presentation of cutlery and crockery
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, bar, and service stations throughout shifts
- Support baristas with drink preparation when necessary, including coffee and specialized beverages
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations at all times
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest needs promptly and professionally
- Assist in catering events or special functions as needed
Requirements
- Previous experience in catering, serving, or hospitality roles is preferred but not essential; training will be provided
- Knowledge of food safety standards is advantageous
- Experience in food preparation or restaurant environments is desirable
- Barista experience is a plus but not mandatory
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently during busy periods
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanour
- Ability to work well within a team and independently when required
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and evenings if necessary
- A genuine interest in delivering outstanding customer service
- Weekend and weekday availability required
