IT Junior

Key Responsibilities
- Provide first-line IT support to over 250 users across the business.
- Assist end-users with hardware, software, and network-related issues.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues, users, and external IT suppliers to ensure a high level of service is delivered.
- Carry out routine maintenance on desktops, laptops, printers, and other IT equipment.
- Maintain accurate records of IT assets, support requests, and resolutions.
- Monitor system performance and escalate issues or anomalies to senior IT team members.
- Support wider IT projects and improvements as required.
Experience and Skills
Experience or knowledge in the following areas would be advantageous:
- First-line IT support and troubleshooting
- Microsoft 365 administration and support
- Networking fundamentals
- Understanding OF AD and user account management
- Basic knowledge of RMM tool and endpoint management
Experience with SQL would be desirable, but not essential. We are looking for someone with the right approach, willingness to learn, and the ability to develop their technical knowledge.
Desirable Qualifications and Knowledge
- Knowledge of CCH software would be advantageous.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.
- A relevant IT qualification or equivalent practical experience would be beneficial.
