About the role
Applications are invited for a Postdoctoral Research Associate (2 posts) in Organic Chemistry to work under the supervision of Professor Véronique Gouverneur for a period of up to 12 months. These posts are funded by the Simone and Cino Del Duca Foundation.
About you
Applicants must hold a PhD in Chemistry or a relevant subject area, (or be close to completion) prior to taking up the appointment. The role of the postholder(s) will be to further advance safe and circular fluorine chemistry working at the interface of organic and inorganic chemistry. You will be expected to manage your own academic research and administrative activities. This involves small scale project management, to co-ordinate multiple aspects of work to meet deadlines.
The post(s) will be based in the Department of Chemistry, Chemistry Research Laboratory, 12 Mansfield Road, Oxford, OX1 3TA and is available as soon as possible.
