Main purpose:
The postholder will lead the operational delivery and performance of frontline domestic abuse services, ensuring high-quality, trauma-informed support to survivors.
Role Specific:
- Lead the day-to-day delivery of the service, ensuring safe, consistent and high-quality support to clients
- Lead on case audits, file reviews, and quality assurance processes
- Provide expert guidance and decision-making on complex cases
- Line manage and supervise staff, including performance management, case supervision and development planning
- Develop and maintain effective working relationships with key partners
- Analyse trends from casework and identify areas for development

- Be able to work within the Safeguarding arena following organisation policies and procedures, be able to Recognise; Respond to; Report and Record Safeguarding issues and understand and make quality Safeguarding Referrals
- Take part in the out of hours rota
Essential Experience and Knowledge:
- Significant experience supporting survivors of domestic abuse, stalking, sexual violence, including children and families
- A good understanding of domestic abuse including the impact of domestic abuse, stalking, sexual violence, on survivors and their children
- Understand the principles of risk assessment, safety planning and risk management for survivors of domestic abuse, stalking, sexual violence, and their children
- Excellent communication, negotiation and advisory skills, both written and verbal when interacting with a range of agencies and individuals
- Knowledge of housing and welfare systems relevant to survivors
Qualifications:
- Hold an IDVA, ISAS, ISAC training certificate, Level 3 Skills for Justice NVQ, or substantial relevant experience and a willingness to complete a qualification within the first 6 months.

- Car driver with access to vehicle
- Subject to Enhanced DBS Check
