MNB Precision is seeking a proactive Assistant Accountant to join our dynamic team and play a key role in supporting our finance function.

The key responsibilities for the Assistant Accountant role will include:
· Accounts Payable support
· General Ledger maintenance
· Assisting with management accounts and reconciliations
· Banking activities and cash management
· Fixed asset management
· Stock accounting and control
· VAT return preparation
· Ad hoc analytical investigations and reporting
What we’re looking for as an Assistant Accountant:
Essential:
· AAT Level 4 qualified or currently studying
· Strong Excel skills (data analysis, reporting, etc.)
· Previous experience in a similar accounting role
· Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
· Experience with accruals, prepayments and journal postings
· Balance sheet reconciliations experience
· Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail
Desirable (but not essential):
· Consolidation experience
· Exposure to year-end audits
· Intercompany accounting knowledge
· Stock accounting experience
· VAT return experience
· Multi-currency exposure
· Experience using Sage 50 and/or Factory Master
