Assistant General Manager – Front of House
We are looking for an experienced, motivated, and hands-on Assistant General Manager to join our team at The Plough Inn, Marsham.
This is a key leadership role within our Front of House team. You'll work closely with the General Manager to ensure exceptional customer service, high operational standards, and a positive working environment for the team.
What we're looking for:
- Previous experience in a supervisory or management role within hospitality (essential).
- A confident leader who can motivate, develop, and manage a Front of House team.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to resolve issues professionally.
- A proactive, organised, and hands-on approach to work.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to lead by example.
- Experience with hotel operations is advantageous but not essential.
The role:
- Support the day-to-day running of the business.
- Lead and supervise the Front of House team during service.
- Ensure consistently high standards of customer service.
- Assist with staff training, development, and performance.
- Work closely with the kitchen and housekeeping teams to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Help maintain high standards of cleanliness, presentation, and compliance.
