Client Account Manager – £30,000 per year
Full-time | Permanent | Office-based
We're a fast-growing technology business working exclusively with UK construction companies, and we're looking for an ambitious, commercially minded Client Account Manager to join our team.
You'll take ownership of clients from onboarding onwards, build strong relationships with business owners and make sure they get maximum value from working with us.
There is no cold calling. You'll be working with existing clients and warm relationships.
What you'll do
- Onboard new clients and become their main point of contact
- Build strong relationships with business owners
- Speak with clients regularly by phone and WhatsApp
- Manage a portfolio of existing accounts
- Proactively identify and resolve problems
- Identify clients at risk of cancelling and work to retain them
- Follow up overdue accounts
- Ask happy clients for referrals
- Identify appropriate opportunities to upsell additional services
- Coordinate requests with our technical team
- Keep client records and our CRM organised
- Spot ways we can improve our processes and client experience
Who we're looking for
We want someone bright, energetic, highly conscientious and ambitious.
You'll need to be confident on the phone, extremely organised and comfortable taking ownership rather than waiting to be told what to do.
Experience in recruitment, sales, account management, customer success, estate agency or another commercial role would be ideal.
We're particularly interested in people who enjoy the relationship-building side of sales but want to move away from constant cold calling and new-business prospecting.
