We are a vegetarian restaurant dedicated to quality and hospitality, and we are looking for a passionate, like-minded individual to join our front-of-house team.
The Role
We are seeking a part-time server who thrives in a fast-paced environment but understands the importance of a calm, professional presence. You will be the face of OAK, ensuring every guest feels welcomed and well-cared for from the moment they walk through our doors.
- Welcome Guests: Act as the first point of contact, greeting guests with warmth and helping them settle into the OAK experience.
- Take Orders: Confidently guide guests through our seasonal vegetarian menu and drinks list, taking orders accurately.
- Food & Drink Service: Run food and drinks from the kitchen/bar to tables, ensuring high standards of presentation and timing.
- Payment Handling: Efficiently process cash and card payments using our POS system.
- General Service: Support the team with table clearing, resetting, and maintaining a clean, inviting dining environment.
- A Natural Host: You enjoy interacting with people and have a genuine "customer-first" mindset.
- Professionalism: You can maintain a high standard of service even when the restaurant is buzzing.
- Passion for Produce: An interest in local ingredients, vegetarian cuisine, or quality wine is a huge plus.
- Team Player: You’re happy to roll up your sleeves and help your colleagues whenever needed.
- Reliability: Punctual, proactive, and comfortable working flexible part-time hours (including evenings and weekends).
