ROLE OVERVIEW AND PURPOSE
The Galleries Washington is home to over 120 high street and independent stores, services complemented by a wide range of F&B options. It is the heart of the town centre and attracts over 12 million shoppers every year.
The role of The Retail Liaison & Content Co-ordinator requires a confident, self-motivated, and commercially driven individual who is confident in building relationships with various teams including on site partners, tenants and external stakeholders. This is an energetic, busy, and varied role suitable for someone with a passion for retail, who can tell a story and is up to date with the latest social trends.
The successful candidate will be joining an experienced Management Team reporting to the Centre Manager. You will be responsible for managing relationships with all of our tenants and providing a strong level of communication between the centre team and stores.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
Retail Services
- First point of contact for all tenants and mall operators.
- Developing strong tenant relationships.
- Monitor tenant performance and support where required.
- To lead on all turnover collation, analyses and review all available sales turnover details/data and present trends. Supporting the Centre Manager where necessary.
- To report regularly on footfall figures and retailer trade.
- Ensure timely and accurate internal and external reporting, maintaining a consistent approach to all information presented.
Marketing
- Work with the Marketing team to programme and develop retailer Social Media content across various formats/channels to maximise the retail calendar, social media trends or specific retailer products/events.
- Support the Marketing team to execute marketing plans and manage on site events.
- Engage tenants in marketing activity and promote all centre activity to encourage participation.
- Actively seek out opportunities to include in marketing activity.
- Support the Centre’s commercialisation function.
Specific Management Responsibilities
- Form part of the Duty Manager Rota which includes weekend and evening working where necessary.
- Regularly liaising with key stakeholders to understand the business requirements.
- Knowledge of general business practices including accounting, human resources, and customer service.
Requirements
1. Demonstrable experience in previous customer service/Retail experience in a busy, fast paced environment in a similar industry or in PR/social media.
2. Excellent report writing, analytical and presentation skills.
3. Strong visual design, videography, photography, and storytelling/copywriting abilities
4. Familiarity with social media platforms and trends, cameras, microphones, lighting equipment, and video editing tools
5. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage and prioritise a busy workload to meet deadlines.
6. Understanding and a genuine passion for the retail environment.
7. Self-motivated and proactive.
8. Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, including Word, Outlook, and Excel (advanced level).
9. Commercially astute.
