Animal rescue centre -
is looking for a reliable, hardworking and trustworthy Night Support Assistant to join our team on a permanent basis.
We are in a lovely remote location and you’ll be surrounded by animals. We have on site facilities for food, drinks, etc and breaks.
Shifts: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday & Sunday nights each week.
This is the perfect role for someone who enjoys working independently, takes pride in keeping things organised, and wants to make a real difference behind the scenes at our busy animal rescue. It includes working indoors and outdoors ALL year round. So being able to work in all temperatures and all weather is essential.
It is a SELF EMPLOYED vacancy so you are responsible for your tax, pension, national insurance etc as we are a non profit rescue
Duties include:
- Stock rotation and checking dates
- Laundry and bedding management
- Tidying and cleaning work areas
- Restocking supplies throughout the site
- General housekeeping tasks
- Helping ensure the rescue is fully prepared for the daytime team
We’re looking for someone who is:
- Reliable and punctual
- Checking the site is safe with no unauthorised access
- Self-motivated and able to work alone
- Organised with good attention to detail
- Physically fit, as the role involves lifting, walking and being on your feet
- Passionate about animal welfare (experience is an advantage but not essential)
