We are particularly interested in someone who is flexible with their working hours and willing to work across different sites when required.
This is a responsible position suited to someone who is observant, dependable, trustworthy and capable of using their own initiative.

Duties may include:
- Carrying out security checks across commercial and industrial sites
- Undertaking regular site patrols and inspections
- Opening and securing premises where required
- Checking gates, doors, buildings and external areas
- Monitoring for unauthorised access or suspicious activity
- Responding appropriately to security concerns or incidents
- Checking vacant properties and units
- Monitoring CCTV where required
- Reporting damage, maintenance issues or unusual activity
- Liaising with management, tenants, contractors and other members of staff
- Maintaining clear records of site visits, inspections and incidents
- Attending different company sites as required
- Providing a visible and professional presence across the property portfolio
- Assisting with additional site monitoring when properties become vacant or circumstances require increased checks
Hours
The position is primarily part-time, but flexibility is important.
Hours may include a combination of:
- Daytime
- Evenings
- Weekends
- Occasional early mornings or later finishes
- Additional hours when required
For the right candidate, particularly someone with strong experience and good flexibility, there may be the opportunity to develop the position into a larger or potentially full-time role.
What We Are Looking For
The successful candidate should be:
- Reliable and punctual
- Trustworthy and responsible
- Flexible regarding working hours
- Professional in appearance and attitude
- Confident working independently
- Observant and security-conscious
- Comfortable dealing with tenants, contractors and members of the public
- Able to identify problems and report them clearly
- Capable of responding calmly and appropriately to unexpected situations
- Willing to travel between local company sites
Previous experience in security, site monitoring, mobile patrols, facilities management, property management or another similar responsible role would be advantageous.
A full UK driving licence is preferred, as the role may involve travelling between different sites.
The Opportunity
We are looking for someone who wants to become a trusted and dependable member of the wider team rather than simply covering individual shifts.
The role can develop around the right individual. Someone with the right experience, attitude and flexibility may be offered increased responsibilities and additional hours as the position develops.
