Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Warehouse Worker to join the team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse by performing various tasks related to store replenishment and stock management. This position requires individuals who are computer literate and capable of heavy lifting, using ladders and being on your feet for 8 hours a day; This role is physically demanding.
Duties
- Receive, inspect, and store incoming products accurately.
- Maintain an organised inventory by stocktaking.
- Perform picking and packing of orders for shipping, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Assist in shipping and receiving processes, including preparing shipments for dispatch.
- Utilise warehouse systems to track inventory levels and movements.
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean working environment at all times.
- Communicate with stores regarding stock to ensure a full inventory.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse environment is preferred.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 25 kg) consistently throughout the shift.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy in picking and packing tasks.
- Basic computer skills for operating warehouse management systems effectively.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team as well as independently.
- A proactive attitude towards health and safety practices in the workplace.
