The Bull Inn is a busy, welcoming country pub in the heart of Ticehurst, serving freshly prepared food in a relaxed and friendly environment. We're looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Kitchen Assistant / Cook to join our team and help deliver great food during busy service periods.
Whether you have previous kitchen experience or are looking to develop your skills in a professional kitchen, we'd love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting with the preparation and cooking of fresh food.
- Supporting the chefs during busy lunch and dinner services.
- Preparing ingredients and basic dishes to a high standard.
- Maintaining high standards of food hygiene and cleanliness.
- Washing up and keeping kitchen workstations clean and organised.
- Receiving and storing deliveries correctly.
- Working as part of a friendly, fast-paced kitchen team.
- Following food safety and health & safety procedures at all times.
We're Looking For Someone Who Is:
- Hardworking and reliable.
- Able to work well under pressure in a busy kitchen.
- A positive team player with a willingness to learn.
- Organised with good attention to detail.
- Flexible to work evenings, weekends and bank holidays as required.
- Previous kitchen experience is desirable but not essential, as full training can be provided.

Hours
