Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and conscientious cleaner to maintain a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene within our busy NHS medical practice. The successful candidate will help ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff while adhering to NHS infection control standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Cleaning consulting rooms, treatment rooms, reception areas, offices, kitchens, and toilets.
- Vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and sanitising surfaces.
- Emptying bins and disposing of waste appropriately.
- Replenishing cleaning supplies and consumables.
- Following colour-coded cleaning procedures and infection prevention guidelines.
- Maintaining accurate cleaning records where required.
Requirements
- Previous cleaning experience preferred but not essential.
- Good attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Reliable, trustworthy, and punctual.
- Understanding of hygiene and infection control practices.
- Ability to pass a DBS check.

10 hours per week, Monday–Friday 6pm - 8pm. Extra hours available to cover holidays etc when applicable.
