1999, and ever since, this remarkable award-winning care home
has offered exemplary standards of Nursing, Residential, Dementia
and Respite care.
We are currently recruiting for a Staff Nurse to join our dedicated
team. As one of our Staff Nurses, you will
join our friendly team in Greenock and provide high quality
nursing care to our residents.

What are the Key Responsibilities and duties of our staff nurses?
To provide a high standard of individualised nursing care to service users based on an assessment of care needs
To continuously evaluate the quality of care given and regularly assess the needs of service users in consultation with service users and their family.
You will regularly communicate with both residents and their families verbally and in written format.
Provide a systematic and structured approach to accurate nursing assessments of the resident’s physical, social and psychological needs.
Ensuring the safe administration of medication in accordance with NMC standards and to order medicines.
Care planning and implementation of care plans
To work within the homes policies and NMC codes of conduct and
Scope of practice
Liaise effectively and professionally with external GPs and multi-disciplinary team
What key requirements should I have?
· Relevant Nursing Qualification and registration with the NMC as a registered Nurse.
· Experience of producing well developed care plans and risk assessments
· Be person centred and sensitive to the needs of others registered Nurse
· Be self and team motivated with excellent communication skills
·. You should have a genuine interest in working with older adults and providing support for their needs.
. You will have experience in infection control, nutrition, wound care, drug administration, moving & handling, palliative care, preferably phlebotomy and dementia care.
