Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Massage Therapist to join our Physiotherapy team. The successful candidate will provide specialised massage treatments aimed at enhancing athletic performance, reducing muscle tension, and promoting overall physical well-being. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about helping patients achieve their health goals through expert massage techniques.
The position is paid and suitable for those with at least Level 3 Sports Massage or equivalent and CNHC/SMA/FHT/ISRM membership.

Responsibilities
- Deliver customised sports massage treatments tailored to individual patient needs, focusing on muscle recovery, flexibility, and injury prevention.
- Work alongside the physiotherapists to maximise patient recovery
- Assess clients’ physical condition and discuss their specific concerns to develop effective treatment plans.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for clients during therapy sessions.
- Keep accurate records of treatments provided and monitor client progress over time.
- Educate clients on post-treatment care
- Stay informed about the latest developments in sports therapy and massage techniques to continually enhance service quality.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations, including hygiene standards and confidentiality protocols.
Skills
- At least Level 3 Sports Massage or equivalent and CNHC/SMA/FHT/ISRM membership.
- Strong knowledge of human anatomy and physiology, with particular emphasis on muscular systems relevant to sports therapy.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and understand their needs.
- Ability to perform deep tissue, Swedish, trigger point, and other specialised massage techniques with precision.
- Organised with good time management skills to handle multiple appointments efficiently.
- Empathy and professionalism in providing supportive care tailored to individual client requirements.
- Other desirable skills: Personal Trainer qualification, Pilates intructor
Pay: £13.00-£15.00 per hour
