At SEPHORA UK, beauty isn’t just what we sell - it’s who we are. It’s the freedom to express yourself, the thrill of discovering something new, and the power of belonging to a community that celebrates every identity. From our beginnings in France to becoming part of the LVMH family, we’ve always pushed boundaries through creativity, innovation, and inclusivity.
Today, as we continue our exciting expansion across the UK, we’re looking for passionate, driven individuals to help shape the future of prestige beauty in one of the world’s most dynamic retail markets.
The Opportunity
This is an exciting opportunity to join SEPHORA UK as Product Owner – UK APP & Commerce Platforms, playing a key role in shaping and delivering customer-facing digital journeys across the app, ecommerce and wider commerce technology landscape.
You will act as the bridge between business and technology, translating local UK needs into clear product priorities while staying closely aligned with Sephora Central, EME and Global platform direction. You will partner with technical teams, business stakeholders and delivery partners to turn complex requirements into practical, well-prioritised backlog items that create measurable customer, operational and commercial value.
A key focus of the role is to manage app prioritisation streams with UK and Central teams, ensuring priorities are understood, challenged where needed, and converted into clear delivery requirements.
What you’ll be doing…
- Own, manage and prioritise the product backlog, ensuring work is clearly defined, sequenced and aligned to business value.
- Create clear epics, user stories and acceptance criteria for development, QA and business stakeholders.
- Manage app prioritisation streams with UK and Central teams, balancing local customer needs, business value, platform direction and delivery capacity.
- Collaborate with UK ecommerce, app, retail, marketing, loyalty, CRM, operations, technical, Central, EME and Global stakeholders to gather requirements and align on solutions.
- Support roadmap planning, release coordination, dependency management and delivery tracking across app, ecommerce and commerce platforms.
- Work within Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, reviews and retrospectives, helping the team maintain delivery focus and clarity.
- Analyse problems, identify root causes, assess options and recommend pragmatic solutions that balance customer impact, technical constraints and delivery risk.
- Make informed product decisions by using evidence, stakeholder input, customer impact and commercial value to guide prioritisation.
- Communicate progress, risks, blockers, trade-offs and decisions clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Support testing, QA, release readiness and acceptance of delivered solutions, ensuring outcomes meet agreed requirements.
- Drive continuous improvement across agile delivery, documentation, product governance and ways of working.
Represent UK requirements clearly with Central, EME and Global teams, ensuring local priorities are visible and actionable.
