Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and highly organized Household Manager & Personal Assistant to oversee the smooth operation of a private residence. The role will oversee the operations of the household, maintain the property and plan family travel and logistics. The ideal candidate will have experience working in HNW households, be proactive, detail-oriented, and possess excellent communication skills to coordinate household activities, manage staff, and assist with personal tasks.
Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of household operations, including scheduling maintenance, overseeing vendors, and managing household staff (gardener, chef, nanny, babysitters, cleaner).
- Act as the primary point of contact for household staff, contractors, service providers, and visitors to ensure smooth communication and efficient scheduling.
- Organize appointments, travel arrangements, and personal schedules for household members with precision and discretion.
- Handle correspondence professionally using Google suite and present reserach, options and itineraries.
- Maintain detailed records of household inventories, budgets, and vendor contacts to ensure everything is up-to-date and accessible.
- Manage the admin relating to the childrens lives - school communications, holiday clubs, scheduling childcare, organising their wardrobes etc.
- You'll manage family travel end to end, including research of options, booking and ensuring all executed seamlessly. Following on during the trip to ensure everything is running smoothly, mainly remotely but perhaps to travel with them on occasion.
Requirements
- Proven experience in household management or as a personal assistant within a high-net-worth environment or UHNW. Background in operations or event management would be considered.
- Strong management skills with the ability to lead staff effectively while fostering teamwork.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and general computer literacy to handle administrative tasks efficiently.
- Exceptional organizational skills with keen attention to detail in managing schedules, inventories, and records.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously with energy, enthusiasm, and professionalism.
- You would be expected to be at the house most days Monday - Friday to check all is running smoothly and be on hand to notice things which aren't, but there will be the option to work remotely to some degree.

Pay: £27,500.00-£75,000.00 per year
