Responsibilities
- Serve food and beverages promptly to guests, ensuring accuracy and presentation standards are met
- Assist in setting up tables and organising dining areas before service
- Support kitchen staff with basic food preparation tasks when needed
- Deliver orders from the kitchen to tables efficiently while maintaining proper communication with the team
- Ensure guest needs are attended to courteously, addressing any special requests or dietary requirements
- Maintain cleanliness of service stations, trays, and dining areas throughout shifts
- Uphold food safety standards by adhering to hygiene protocols at all times
- Handle guest enquiries professionally using excellent phone etiquette when necessary
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth restaurant operations during busy periods
Requirements
- Previous experience in hospitality, restaurant service, or food preparation is desirable but not essential; training will be provided
- Knowledge of food safety standards and good hygiene practices
- Strong communication skills and the ability to engage positively with guests and team members
- Experience in delivery driving or courier services is advantageous but not mandatory
- Familiarity with kitchen operations, meal preparation, or culinary environments is a plus
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Flexibility to work during evenings, weekends, or holidays as required
- Organised with excellent time management skills and a professional attitude towards guest services
