We are excited to invite an experienced and passionate Dental Hygienist to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity to work within mixed NHS/private Dental and Specialist Orthodontic practice with a supportive, professional setting where your skills are genuinely valued and your contribution makes a difference to patients’ oral health and confidence.
Your Role
As a Hygienist you will play a vital role in maintaining and improving our patients oral health while delivering an outstanding clinical experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive hygiene treatments, including: Scale and polish (hand and ultrasonic instrumentation), Periodontal therapy, carry out detailed periodontal assessments and charting
- Deliver tailored oral hygiene instructions and preventative advice
- Maintain precise and compliant clinical records in accordance with GDC standards
- Collaborate closely with dentists to support comprehensive treatment planning
- Uphold the highest standards of cross-infection control and clinical governance
Essential:
- GDC registered Dental Hygienist
- Valid indemnity insurance
- Up-to-date CPD
- Strong knowledge of periodontal management and preventative protocols
- Confident communicator with an excellent chairside manner
