Wood is thrilled to announce we are actively seeking interest from talented professionals who wish join our team at bp Hemel Hempstead Terminal.
The scope of work will be to supervise / oversee the following:-
- (Pre Works) Electrical installation of cable, cable tray and Unistrut.
- (Pre Works) Excavation an installation of new cable duct c/w cables.
- (Pre Works) Removal of any redundant services.
- Installation of new control panels within switch rooms
- Installation of new control desks within the main control room
- Gland / terminate all new cables from panels
- Testing of all new cables
- Migration from existing equipment to new equipment (Phased approach)
PERSON SPECIFICATION
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, components, and safety standards.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and precision in work.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work in various physical situations and be able to lift and carry heavy equipment and materials.
- Comfortable working in various environments, including exposure to heights and confined spaces.
- Must hold full UK manual driver’s license
- Must be available to work a reasonable amount of overtime when required.
