We are looking for a passionate new team member to join our Bait Cabin Cafe.
A friendly approach, confidence and common sense are essential for this role, vacancies are available for full time & part time with an immediate start available.
Honister Slate Mine has a busy Café at the top of Honister Pass, business hours are from 08.00 and fluctuate from 17.00 to 18.00 finishes dependent on the seasons.
We pride ourselves on our homemade cakes, hearty food, and welcoming atmosphere. Our customers range from thrill seeking adventurers, families from the tours, walkers, coast to coasters and cyclists taking on one of the best hill climbs in the UK, or even just people taking refuge from the typical Lake District weather!
If you are a quick learner, excellent with customer service & working in a team as well as independently this could be the role for you!
Candidates ideally should have some catering experience, and be hungry to learn and develop as a key member of our team, full training and support will be given.
Transport is essential for this role.
You will be expected to work weekends and school holidays due to our business being in the tourism industry. Quality work and positive attitudes are a must have and support from the team will be provided.
