Cake Production Operative
Location: Becws Mon Bakery, Unit 4, Llangefni Trade Unit LL77 7AR
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:00pm
Breaks: 30-minute unpaid break
Job Type: Full-time 37.5 hour salary
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Cake Production Operative to join our busy bakery team in Llangefni. This role involves producing cakes from start to finish in a fast-paced bakery environment, ensuring all products are made to a high standard of quality, consistency, and hygiene.
Main Responsibilities
- Preparing ingredients and mixing cake batters
- Baking cakes and monitoring baking times and quality
- Filling, decorating, and finishing cakes to company standards
- Packing and labelling finished products
- Following recipes and production schedules accurately
- Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards throughout the bakery
- Ensuring all health and safety and food hygiene procedures are followed
- Working as part of a team to meet daily production targets
- Supporting other areas of the bakery when required
Skills & Experience
- Previous bakery, confectionery, or food production experience is preferred but not essential
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Good attention to detail and consistency
- Reliable with good timekeeping
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
