We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a knack for creating memorable experiences for our guests. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting a variety of beverages, providing exceptional service, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere in our establishment. Your ability to manage time effectively while ensuring food safety standards will be crucial in delivering top-notch service.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons, taking orders, and offering recommendations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring all equipment is properly cleaned and stored.
- Monitor inventory levels of drinks and supplies, restocking as necessary to ensure smooth operations.
- Adhere to food safety regulations and responsible serving practices at all times.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, utilising basic maths skills for processing payments.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food items when applicable.
- Assist in training new staff members on bar procedures and customer service standards.
- Expected hours of work 40+ including evenings and weekends

Experience
- Previous experience in bartending or a similar role within the hospitality industry is essential
- Strong understanding of food safety practices and regulations.
- Excellent time management skills to handle busy periods effectively.
- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.
- A friendly demeanour with strong communication skills to interact with customers and team members alike.
- Basic maths skills are essential for handling cash transactions accurately.

Rate of Pay: Starting from £12.67 per hour, plus weekly shared tips.
