As part of its Halloween at Kew and Christmas at Kew programs, Kew Retail has up to nine part-time fixed-term posts available, from one day per week up to five days per week (7hrs to 35hrs). Working at least one weekend day per week is required as part of this role.
Kew’s ‘Halloween at Kew’ event runs from the 16th October to the 1st November 2026, and our ‘Christmas at Kew’ event runs from the 13th November 2026 to the 3rd January 2027. The events are open until 10pm, so regular evening work up to 10.30pm will be required for the role.
Kew Gardens is only closed on Christmas day, so you should expect to work either Christmas eve up to 9.30pm, or Boxing day.
Candidates will have experience of working in a fast paced Retail or Customer facing environment and be able to demonstrate strong customer service skills.
They will be experienced in achieving targets and KPI’s and working alongside colleagues and Managers to maximise the revenue generated for Kew.

The salary for this position is £26,119 per annum (pro rata) [Grade 1a]
