Job Summary
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking General Warehouse Operative to join our team. The successful candidate will assist with the day-to-day running of the warehouse, ensuring goods are received, stored, picked, packed and dispatched accurately and efficiently while maintaining a clean and safe working environment. They will also support the warehouse team with extrusion activities where required.
Key Responsibilities
- Receiving and checking incoming deliveries.
- Loading and unloading vehicles safely.
- Picking and packing customer orders accurately.
- Preparing goods for dispatch.
- Moving stock around the warehouse using appropriate equipment.
- Carrying out regular stock checks and reporting discrepancies.
- Keeping the warehouse clean, tidy and organised.
- Following health and safety procedures at all times.
- Assisting with general warehouse duties as required.
- Working as part of a team to meet daily operational targets.
Skills & Experience
- Previous warehouse experience is beneficial but not essential.
- Good attention to detail.
- Ability to work efficiently and accurately in a fast paced environment
- Reliable with a positive attitude.
- Manual handling duties.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Forklift licence is advantageous

Pay: £12.71 per hour
