Packing Operative – Chocolate Factory
Location: Bruton, Somerset
Pay: £13.00 per hour
Hours: Full-Time – 7:30am – 5:30pm, Monday – Thursday
Start Date: Immediate start available
Job Description
We are a growing chocolate manufacturer supplying high-profile UK retailers and luxury department stores. We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Packing Operative to join our factory team.
This is a hands-on role within our packing department, ideally suited to someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in accuracy, organisation, and presentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Pack chocolate products into retail packaging including boxes, sleeves, and gift formats to a high standard.
- Ensure all products are packed neatly, accurately, and in line with company specifications.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the packing area.
- Follow all food safety, HACCP, SALSA, and health & safety requirements.
- Work as part of a team to meet daily packing targets.
Requirements
- Previous experience in food manufacturing, hospitality, or a similar hands-on role is helpful but not essential.
- Strong attention to detail and pride in your work.
- Reliable with good timekeeping and attendance.
- Comfortable working on your feet in a busy production environment.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
