Job Summary
We are seeking a dependable and physically capable Labourer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with various manual tasks across our site, ensuring smooth operations and maintaining a safe working environment. Responsibilities
- Assist with loading and unloading materials, ensuring safe handling at all times
- Support the organisation and tidiness of the worksite, including waste disposal and storage of tools and materials
- Carry out basic maintenance tasks such as cleaning equipment and work areas
- Aid in the transportation of goods or equipment within the site using appropriate manual or mechanical means
- Follow health and safety protocols diligently to minimise risks and hazards
- Support team members with various tasks as directed by supervisors to ensure project deadlines are met
Qualifications
- Previous experience in manual labour or construction is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided
- Good physical fitness with the ability to lift heavy objects safely and perform manual tasks over extended periods
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Basic understanding of health and safety procedures in a manual labour environment
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining a safe working environment
- CSCS required
