About the role
You'll be at the heart of our school, providing support that keeps everything running smoothly. From welcoming visitors and managing communications to coordinating school events and looking after important records, your work will help create a positive and organised environment where students, staff, and families feel supported.
Key responsibilities
Create and send internal and external communications, including newsletters and school updates
Manage student and staff records, and support school admissions enquiries
Coordinate school events, including parents' evenings and trips
Look after school lunches, dinner registers, and Free School Meals applications
Provide friendly reception support, greeting visitors and responding to phone and in-person enquiries
Order supplies and resources, making sure the school has what it needs
We are looking for someone who
You don't need to have worked in a school before, but you'll bring strong administrative skills and a genuine passion for supporting children and families. Have you worked in a customer-facing role where attention to detail and clear communication mattered? Do you enjoy working as part of a team and feel comfortable managing your own time?
We'd love to hear from you if you have good IT skills, including basic use of email and office software. Experience with Google tools or school information systems like Arbor would be helpful, but we can support you to learn. Most importantly, do you care about safeguarding and creating a safe, welcoming space for everyone?
