We’re looking for a reliable and hardworking Bar Back / Bartender to join our team at The Feathers for busy weekend shifts.
This is a fast-paced role in a lively bar environment, perfect for someone who enjoys working as part of a team and thrives under pressure.
You’ll play a key role in keeping the bar running smoothly while delivering great service to our customers.
Key Responsibilities
Bar Back Duties:
- Restocking fridges, spirits, and glassware
- Collecting and washing glasses efficiently
- Keeping the bar clean, organised, and fully stocked
- Changing kegs and assisting with cellar duties
- Maintaining ice levels and bar prep throughout service
Bartending Duties (when required):
- Serving drinks quickly and accurately
- Taking payments using the till system
- Delivering excellent customer service
- Preparing simple drinks and shots
- Following responsible alcohol service standards
Promoter Duties:
- Helping bring customers into the venue on busy nights
- Promoting events, offers, and themed nights (in person)
- Creating a lively, welcoming atmosphere
- Engaging with customers and encouraging repeat visits
What We’re Looking For
- Previous bar experience preferred (not essential)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Availability for weekends and late nights
- Must be 18+
Job Types: Part-time, Zero hours contract
Pay: £10.85-£12.71 per hour
