Home Care Worker – Croydon
£12.71 per hour
Availability: Flexible shifts available (Full-time, part-time, and weekend roles) with paid holidays.
We offer flexible working hours but have particularly high demand during the following times:
- Weekday 7am – 9pm
- Weekends all hours
Experience and training: Previous experience not required (but advantageous). Full training & support provided.
Community-based across London (Visiting clients in their own homes).

Essential Skills & Experience:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to maintain accurate, legible records and use our mobile monitoring system.

Qualifications & Requirements:
- Willingness to complete NVQ/QCF Level 2 in Health & Social Care (if not already held)
- Subject to a satisfactory Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check
- Knowledge of Health & Safety and Manual Handling (Training provided)
Additional requirements
· Pass a DBS Check
· Ideal to have full UK driving licence holder and have access to a car that you can use for work (not essential)

About the role
We are seeking compassionate individuals to support our service users in living safely and independently at home. You will be responsible for providing high-quality personal care, assisting with medication, and helping with domestic tasks like meal preparation and light housekeeping. Most importantly, you will be a friendly face and a source of vital social contact for those who live alone.
What will you be doing?
Our Care Assistants work within the Croydon community enabling our service users to live independently in their own homes. Typical support can include personal care and hygiene, food preparation, administering medication, shopping, and collecting prescriptions, light housework & other domestic chores, companionship, and social support.

We need warm, calm, patient, hard-working, and resourceful professionals. You are organized, an excellent communicator, and comfortable in community-based environments. You understand the challenges faced by elderly or disabled individuals and commit to treating everyone with dignity and respect.
