Fire Damper Remedial Engineer

Rule One Fire is looking for an experienced and motivated Fire Damper Remedial Engineer to join our growing compliance team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out fire damper remedial works, repairs, replacements and maintenance across a range of commercial and residential buildings. You will work to a high standard, ensuring all remedial works are completed safely, efficiently and in accordance with relevant standards and manufacturer requirements.
Previous duct fitting experience work be a benefit
Experience within fire stopping, passive fire protection or wider fire compliance would be highly desirable, although full training and development can be provided for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out fire damper remedial works, repairs and replacements.
- Complete works identified through fire damper inspection and testing.
- Ensure all remedial works are completed to the required standard.
- Maintain accurate records, photographs and completion documentation.
- Work safely and professionally on customer sites.
- Identify additional remedial requirements and communicate these effectively.
- Liaise professionally with customers, site teams and colleagues.
- Ensure all works comply with relevant regulations, standards and company procedures.
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone who is:
- Experienced in fire damper remedial works or a related building compliance trade.
- Practical, reliable and quality-focused.
- Comfortable working independently on customer sites.
- Able to read and understand technical information and remedial specifications.
- Customer-focused with good communication skills.
- Committed to health, safety and high-quality workmanship.
Desirable experience: Fire stopping, passive fire protection, fire doors, compartmentation or other fire compliance works.
