Church View Dental Practice is seeking a friendly, motivated and patient-focused Qualified Dental Nurse to join our welcoming, family-run private practice.
We are an independent, fully private dental practice with three modern surgeries, located in Stowmarket with excellent transport links to Bury St Edmunds and Ipswich. The practice has nearby public parking and is within easy walking distance of the train station.
Position Overview
- Full-time ideally or part-time considered

Working Hours
Monday – Thursday 8:45am – 5:15pm
Friday 8:15am – 4:15pm
Saturday Occasional availability if desired 8am-12noon at time and a half pay rate

About You
We are looking for someone who is:
- A qualified Dental Nurse registered with the GDC
- Up to date with CPD requirements
- Professional, reliable, and patient-focused
- Confident with strong communication skills
- Calm, organised, and able to work well in a busy clinical environment
- A positive team player with a good attitude and sense of humour
Experience in implant nursing would be an advantage but is not essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparing surgeries before and between patients
- Chairside assistance for dentists and hygienists
- Instrument sterilisation and infection control procedures
- Supporting patients to feel comfortable and at ease
- Maintaining surgery stock levels and organisation
- Assisting with clinical notes, charting, and documentation
- Supporting reception duties (calls, bookings, administration)
- Ensuring high standards of cross-infection control and patient safety
- Working collaboratively with the clinical and reception team
