Plant Fitter – Leeds
Salary: £37000 - £42000 (higher for NVQ Level 3 qualified candidates)
Full Time | Monday–Friday | 7:30am – 5:00pm (45 hours per week)
We are currently looking to recruit an experienced Plant Fitter to join our team based in Leeds. This is a full-time, permanent internal role working within a busy workshop environment maintaining and repairing a wide range of plant machinery.
Key Responsibilities
- Servicing, maintaining and repairing plant machinery
- Diagnosing mechanical faults and carrying out effective repairs
- Preparing equipment for hire and ensuring machines are maintained to high safety standards
- Completing job sheets and service records accurately
- Working efficiently within a team to maintain workshop productivity
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Plant Fitter or similar mechanical role
- Strong knowledge of plant machinery maintenance and repair
- NVQ Level 3 in Plant Maintenance (preferred but not essential)
- Ability to diagnose and resolve mechanical issues efficiently
- Good attention to detail and commitment to safety
