Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Relief Pub Manager to oversee daily operations within our vibrant pub environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining high standards of service, ensuring food safety, and supervising staff during shifts. Responsibilities
- Oversee daily pub operations, including food preparation, cooking, and serving to ensure smooth service delivery
- Supervise and support team members, including baristas, kitchen staff, and servers, fostering a positive and productive work environment
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards and regulations across all areas of food production and service
- Manage stock levels, organise inventory checks, and coordinate with suppliers as necessary
- Handle customer queries or complaints professionally, aiming to resolve issues promptly and effectively
- Assist in organising staff rotas and managing shift schedules to optimise staffing levels
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the premises in accordance with health and safety guidelines
- Lead by example in delivering excellent hospitality service, promoting teamwork and high standards of customer care
Skills
- Proven experience in restaurant or hospitality management, ideally within a pub or similar setting
- Strong supervisory experience with team management skills
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food production and kitchen operations
- Competence in food preparation, cooking, serving, and general kitchen experience
- Excellent leadership qualities with the ability to motivate staff and foster a collaborative environment
- Familiarity with hospitality industry standards including barista experience is advantageous
- Organised with strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Good communication skills to interact effectively with staff and customers alike

Pay: £2,500.00-£2,900.00 per month
