Holdcroft is looking for an experienced MOT Site Manager to lead our MOT operation across our sites in Crewe. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced MOT professional with strong leadership skills who takes pride in delivering exceptional standards of quality, compliance, and customer service.
As MOT Site Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operation of the MOT testing facilities, ensuring all testing is carried out in line with DVSA regulations and manufacturer standards. You will lead and support the MOT team, carry out regular quality checks, monitor performance, and help drive efficiency while maintaining the highest levels of safety and compliance.
Manage the day-to-day operation of the MOT testing sites, ensuring efficient workflow and productivity.
Lead, motivate, and support MOT Testers and workshop colleagues to deliver excellent service.
Carry out MOT tests where required and provide technical support to the team.
Perform regular quality checks and audits on completed MOTs, servicing, and repair work to ensure compliance with DVSA and manufacturer standards.
Ensure all MOT equipment is maintained, calibrated, and compliant with legal requirements.
Monitor workshop performance, productivity, and key performance indicators.
Ensure all documentation and records are completed accurately and maintained in line with company and DVSA requirements.
Maintain high standards of health and safety throughout the workshop.
Liaise with Service Advisors, Workshop Controllers, and management to ensure an efficient customer journey.
Manage workload effectively to meet business targets while maintaining quality standards.
Identify opportunities to improve processes, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

Hold a valid MOT Tester licence.
Previous experience in an MOT supervisory or management role.
Strong knowledge of DVSA regulations and workshop operations.
Experience carrying out quality checks and maintaining compliance.
Excellent leadership, organisation, and communication skills.
Customer-focused with a proactive approach to problem solving.
Hold a full UK driving licence.
