As Deputy Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and compliant running of the service, promoting a safe, nurturing, and empowering environment where young people can thrive.
Key Responsibilities
· To be an active participant of the management team ensuring that the organisation achieves its aims, and a positive culture is created.
· To ensure that health and safety requirements are maintained throughout the homes, acting when required.
· To establish effective relationships with a range of key stakeholders to promote the reputation of the organisation and instil confidence in its capacity to deliver positive outcomes.
· Identify and address any areas of concern relating to non-compliance and ensure the correct actions are implemented.
· To ensure that the homes always remains compliant with all legislative and regulatory requirements.
· Build strong relationships with young people, families, and external partners, promoting community integration and engagement.
· Ensure compliance with Ofsted and all relevant legislation, policies, and procedures.
· Support in staff supervision, training, and development to maintain a skilled and motivated team.
· Work closely with external agencies, families, and stakeholders to ensure holistic support.
· Participate in audits, inspections, and continuous improvement initiatives.
· Demonstrate good communication skills to outside agencies and represent the company in a positive manner in a variety of meetings.
· Ability to contribute positively in meetings and compile good reports.
· Utilise the individual skills and abilities of staff members and address any lapses in practice.
· Ensure that all health and safety checks are carried out in line with company policy and appropriately recorded.
· Ensure the provision maintains high standards of cleanliness, security, and safety.
· To ensure that supervision of staff members occur monthly.
· To ensure staff have up to date Personal Development Review’s.
· Ensure training needs are identified and staff are supported with this
· Undertake probation reviews within timescales.
· Ensure ALL residents files are well maintained and documentation is in place to evidence all work undertaken with young people.
· All staff are completing daily recording procedures to a high standard.
· All actions from the homes monthly inspection are completed within the given timeframe.
· Ensuring incident reports are fully completed and accurate.
· Ensure people that all relevant agencies/partners are sent copies within agreed timescales and all incident reports are placed in the homes incident folder.

Pay: £29,000.00 per year
