Overview
We are seeking a professional HGV Class 1 Bulk delivery driver to join our team. Experienced Class 1 Driver required, ADR License beneficial but not essential as training will be provided
What will you need?
- Experience of multi-drop deliveries and collections in the Central Belt of Scotland
- Working days/hours: Monday to Friday 7am - 6pm.
- Salary based on ADR qualifications
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a Class 1 HGV lorry, across designated routes for multiple deliveries each day
- Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance
- Load and unload goods, ensuring they are secured correctly during transit
- Deliver products to multiple clients or distribution centres in a timely manner, adhering to scheduled routes and delivery windows
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and obtain necessary signatures upon completion of each drop
- Follow all traffic laws, health and safety regulations, and company policies during operations
- Communicate effectively with the logistics team regarding delivery schedules or any issues encountered during routes
Requirements
- Valid HGV Class 1 licence with a clean driving record
- Proven experience as a commercial driver, preferably in multi-drop delivery roles
- Knowledge of flatbed operations is advantageous
- Strong driving skills with a focus on safety and efficiency
- Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple deliveries throughout the day
- Ability to work independently and responsibly in a fast-paced environment
- Good customer service skills to represent the company professionally during deliveries

Pay: £46,800.00 per year
