We are recruiting an experienced Dual Registered Manager to oversee two children’s residential homes in Slough. The services support children and young people with EBD and LD.
This role is suitable for an experienced Children’s Home Registered Manager who is ready to take responsibility for two residential services. Registered Managers with at least 2 years of relevant management experience are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day management of two children’s residential homes.
- Maintain high standards of safeguarding and care for children and young people.
- Ensure both homes operate in line with Ofsted requirements and Children’s Homes Regulations.
- Lead, support and develop residential care teams.
- Maintain care plans, risk assessments and required records.
- Monitor quality and compliance across both services.
- Work effectively with external professionals, families and relevant authorities.
- Support continuous improvement across both homes.
Experience and Qualifications
- Previous management experience within a children’s residential home is required.
- Registered Managers with 2 or more years of relevant experience are encouraged to apply.
- Good knowledge of Ofsted requirements, safeguarding and Children’s Homes Regulations.
- Experience supporting children or young people with EBD and/or learning disabilities is desirable.
- A relevant Level 5 leadership and management qualification, or willingness to work towards one, would be advantageous.
